Hotel GOLDEN CITY

Garni liegt in der Denkmalschutzzone. Es hat eine schnelle und bequeme Verbindung zu allen Prager Monumenten.
Das Gebäude wurde im Jahr 1898 erbaut. Auf der Eckfasade können Sie die wertvolle Malereien aus dem Jahr 1903 bewundern. Es handelt sich um eine Allegorie der Kunst und Technik von Alfons Mucha, einem von den führenden Jugendstillmaler Anfangs des 20. Jahrhunderts. Auf dem Hotelhof wurde ein historischer Ziegelbrunnen endeckt.

Die Innenräume des ganzen Hotels wurden zu einem modernen Wohnstandard rekonstruiert (incl. Personenaufzug, Zentralheizung, Klimaanlage und moderne technischer Hintergrund mit Tiefgaragen etc.)

ANKUNFT MIT DEM AUTO

Fuer die Oreinierung ist gut zu wissen, dass unseres Hotel ist in Stadtviertel 3 - ZIZKOV, hinter dem HAUPTBAHNHOF, und in der Naehe von FERNSEHENTURM.

1. Von Süden (Autobahn D1) Budapest, Wien, Brno
Also, von Anfang .Sobald Sie in unsere Stadt kommen, fahren Sie bitte immer weiter die Schnellstrase - D1 entlang.
* Sie fahren durch der Südlichen Siedlung, weiter der Kongresshalle an der linken Seite und dem Corinthia Towers Hotel an der rechten Seite vorbei.
Dann fahren Sie, , über die Nuselsky Brücke durch Legerova Str weiter bis zum oberen Teil von WENZELSPLATZ.
Auf der linke Seite erscheint sich der Ruecktrakt von National Museum.

** Dann kommt die Kreuzung am Sudrande des Haupbahnhof und hier bitte rechts - hoch fahren durch VINOHRADSKA Str. Aud der linke Seite kann man der Banhofshalle und kolejiste sehen

***Ungefer nach 300 m kommt die Kreuzung mit Italska Str und hier auf der Ampel bitte links abzubiegen. Dann fahren sie entlan Rucktrat von Hauptbahnhof enmtlang bis zur Bausteklle am Norrade des Bahnhofes und zur Seifertova str. fahren si e bischen bergauf , entlang Srtrassenbahn gleisen ungef 1 km und nach der steilen Strassenbiegung isetzt diese Haupstrase unter dem Name Taboritska weiter fort.

Unseresw Haus Nr 3 , erkennen Sie ganz leicht - Hotel GOLDEN CITY is das zweite Gebaude auf der linke Seite und in der Nacht ist beleuchtet.

2. Von Norden (Autobahn D5)
Leider zur Zeit / von 1.DEC 2003 / ist wegen Rekonstruktion die nordliche Kreuzung vor dem WILSON .HAUPTBAHNHOF zu und kann man nicht unter die Bahnueberbruckung verwenden und direkt in die der Strrase SEIFERTOVA Str(mit derStrassenbahnverkehr) erreichen Wir mussen Areal von Hauptbahnhof von hinter umfahreen und zuruck zu kehren Fahren sie bitte die Snellstrasse weiter fort , entlang historischen Gebaeude von HAUPTBAHNHOF, und STATSOPER.
Hinter den moderne Bau von ehem FEDRALVERSAMMLUNG bitte links hoch fahren durch die Vinohradska Str. ....und weiter gemás die Instruktionen siehe oben ***

Arriving by car

FROM THE SOUTH - Highway D1 (E-65)
Budapest, Wienna, Brno
After reaching Prague, keep still on - D 1. You drive through southern housing estates,by Congress Hall, the meeting spot of October 2002 NATO Congress on the left and Corinthia Towers Hotel on the right. Nuselsky bridge takes you over the valley. After several crossings an passing by the Main Train Station, leave the motorway and turn right - direction Zizkov, underpass rail bridges and follow tram tracks straight up the Seifertova street. When it changes its name into Taboritska street, look left and you can see our hotel.

FROM THE WEST - Highway D5 (E-50)
Frankfurt am Main, Nurnberg, Plzen
Upon reaching Prague surroundings, follow the traffic signs (Center/Centrum) down the Plzenska street until you come to the river. (Be careful - new business center is being built around here.) Cross the Jiraskuv most/bridge over the river of Vltava and go straight up the Jecna street, which leads to the North-South Motorway. Turn left on the traffic lights, pass by National Museum and the Main Train Station and look for the direction to Zizkov. (See underlined text in the previous paragraph)

FROM THE NORTH - Highway D8 (E-55)
Berlin, Dresden, Usti nad Labem
You have to go by the Highway down the hill. After crossing the river Vltava for the first time, continue straight in Argentinska street looking for the traffic signs to Center/Centrum. After crossing the river Vltava for the second time (on the North-South Motorway) and passing the largest Prague's hotel Hilton on the left, take the second exit to the right to leave the motorway and then immediately turn left under bridges - direction to Zizkov. Arriving by plane -
International Airport Ruzyne

Your plane has finally landed and you touched Czech ground for the first time. After passing the passport control it's high time to go to the hotel and take a rest. There are three ways of getting to us:

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
The cheapest but lengthiest way is to use Prague's Public transport (PID). Take bus #119 to its terminal station at Dejvicka metro station. get off and take tram #26. After passing the river and the Main Train Station (Hlavni nadrazi), get off at Lipanska stop. This takes approx 55 minutes and you will need a ticket for 12 czk (60 minutes validity).

SHUTTLE BUS:
Another possibility is to take a minibus of the CEDAZ company that regularly runs between the airport and Square of Republic (Namesti Republiky). From here, take tram #5 up to Lipanska stop.

HOTEL CAR:
The most comfortable (and the safest) way for you might be our hotel transport service.Should you wish so, we will be pleased to pick you up at the airport. The charge for this service is CZK 600. More info - see section OUR HOTEL DRIVER

IMPORTANT:Please be very careful when taking a taxi in Prague. It may cause troubles because some taxi drivers try to overcharge foreign visitors.

Arriving by train

There are two international train stations in Prague.

The first one, Wilson Railroad Station / Main Train Station (Hlavni Nadrazi) is next to the center with quick connection to our hotel. After exiting the hall, turn right, walk across the park ) and take any tram (#5, #9 or #26) up to LIPANSKA stop (second stop to get off). Tram ride is approx. 5 minutes and you need a ticket for 8 czk (one way ticket).

If you come from northern and eastern destinations, your train would probably arrive to the second international train station - Nadrazi Holesovice. The best way to reach our hotel is to take tram #5. You will go across the river Vltava and continue to the Square of Republic and Main Train Stationand get off at LIPANSKA. Tram ride takes approx 20 minutes and you will need a ticket for 12 czk (60 minutes validity).
