The building "U Zlaté Studny" ("Golden Well") is a historic monument from the 16th century placed in the very center of Prague in the Old Town. It is situated on the "Royal Path" between the Old Town square and the Charles bridge cca 300m far away. For further information about its location and how to get there please view our map.

At present it has four double rooms and four spacious suites with original wooden painted ceilings and vaults. Click here for our gallery, where you can find photos either of the hotel from the outside or of its suites from the inside.

A guarded parking lot is located about a five-minute walk from the hotel. In the Romanesque subterranen vault of the building there is a restaurant with great Czech as well as international cuisine and with delicious Moravian wines and Czech beer. The capacity of the restaurant is 36 persons.

Our hotel U Zlate Studny, Karlova 3, is absolutely fine, wasn´t damaged and we are opened again for you. Prague is getting over the flood very quickly, you can enjoy the sightseeing and visit the famous places.

History

After the events in 1989, the building has entered private ownership and its tradition as a hotel has been revived. At present it has two double rooms and four spacious suites with original wooden painted ceilings and vaults.
