THE DESIGN HOTEL IN PRAGUE

Opened on June 22, 2002 and managed by Vienna International, andel's hotel Prague is a design hotel and a "piece of art" in the heart of the Golden City Prague in the Czech Republic.

The hotel is designed to be the centre of the new building complex named "Andel City" and is launching a new dimension of hotel business & hospitality. "Andel City" is located in a part of the district "Smichov" that is called "Andel" - angel, therefore the name of the hotel is "andel's.

ABOUT HOTEL
Located close to the Golden City center, the ultimate four star de luxe design hotel opened its doors in June 2002. The interior of the hotel is designed by the famous British architects and designers Jestico + Whiles. They are known for their practical, innovative and contemporary solutions and have won different national and international architectural awards, e. g. the FX International Hotel
Designers of the Year Award for the One Aldwych Hotel in London.
The new hotel andel´s hotel Prague offers 239 rooms which combine modern equipment with the highest comfort. Each room has access to internet via Ethernet-LAN and a multimedia TV-System and DVD. The conference centre has an area of 350 m2 with a capacity of 300 persons in 9 exquisite and versatile meeting rooms with daylight providing state-of-the-art audiovisual and multimedia technology.

The hotel is conveniently located in the new complex "Anděl City" with multiplex cinema-center, and various shops.

The near underground station "Anděl" ensures a quick connection to the city center with its famous sights, like the "Wenceslas Square".

ROOM

The 231 rooms and 8 suites on five floors are flooded by light from floor to high ceiling windows. You will find simple and discrete furniture, which combine highest comfort with up-to-date functionality.

Each room is equipped with DVD player, Sat-TV, individually adjustable air-conditioning, minibar, safe box with notebook plug, trouser press, ISDN/LAN connections for internet access, and two telephone lines.

100 rooms are reserved for non-smokers, while others meet the needs of disabled guests, 8 rooms have sunny side view and each is equipped with its own terrace.

DELIGHT" RESTAURANT:
The restaurant close to the conference rooms seats over 220 guests in either large groups or separate tables of four or two, for breakfast through to different kinds of gastronomic events. Our "private dining rooms" and the Crystall room are the perfect choice for an intimate dinner for two or a special business lunch for up to 30 guests.

OSCAR'S "BAR:
Located close to the "Golden City" center, the new Bar/Brasserie of the andel's hotel is destined to become Prague's most fashionable new venue. Both guests and city dwellers alike will enjoy Italian coffee specialities, a fresh and light lunch or a communicative dinner in this cool, atmospheric space.

Auditorium
The adjacent cinema centre provides additional seating for up to 300 guests. In combination, this will be one of the largest conferencing facilities in Prague.

On the first floor, you will be greeted at a separate reception desk from which you will be directed towards the Delight restaurant, pre-conference area or conference rooms.

The andel's conference centre has an area of 350 m2 with a capacity of 300 participants in 9 rooms, each with daylight. The rooms have sliding walls and allow rooms to be connected and divided according to your needs. The adjacent cinema centre offers the possibility to use specially adapted auditoria for events with up to 300 persons.

For a special event or VIP meeting, the Crystal Room provides a unique venue. The room is entered across a glass bridge and once inside the impression is of floating above the Piazza.

Would you like to take home a nice typical souvenir from Prague? The Anova gift shop, offering traditional Czech crystal, garnets and jewellery, can make the distance shorter for you. The shop is located on the street level of andel’s hotel, open daily.
For your shopping needs, you can also use the adjacent Nový Smíchov shopping centre, with more than 130 brandname shops.

2 multiplex cinema centres next to the hotel building take you to the world of film every day, with excellent sound and screens.

MOZART MUSEUM
Enjoy your stay in Prague in the company of the ingenious composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who wrote his unforgettable opera Don Giovanni in Prague in 1787.
