Welcome to our hotel, built in 1920 in the Art Nouveau style on the famous Wenceslas Square directly in the centre of Prague.

The five star Hotel Ambassador – Zlatá Husa is located in the centre of Prague in the middle of Wenceslas Square. The hotel is near historical monuments, cultural and commercial centres, luxury shopping centres, restaurants, clubs and cafes.

The hotel offers two restaurants with Czech and International Cuisines, lobby bar, casino, night club, summer terrace, laundry room, beauty salon, 24 hours room service, currency exchange and garage.

All 162 rooms as well as the restaurants and conference rooms came in 2004 through massive reconstruction. However, the hotel lost none of its distinction and historical significance after these extensive innovations. At present the hotel is fully equipped to suit all clients, whether business or tourist.

Welcome to the Ambassador – Zlata Husa Hotel built in 1920 and located directly in the city center of Prague , at famous boulevard Wenceslas Square. As its name Ambassador - Zlata Husa suggests, the hotel consists of two parts - the history of the first is quite straightforward in comparison to the history of the second, which is a bit funny.

The owner of the hotel was a rich widow, who had a young yet extremely unattractive and silly daughter. The daughter was already of marrying age, but despite her assets she remained single. She never married and for that she was known in Prague by the nickname "Golden Goose" (Zlata Husa).
So far just a brief excursion into the old history.

In 1964 both hotels were joined together and their modern history begins from that time.

The hotel is located at Wenceslas Square (see the larger version of map), a historical and cultural center founded by the famous king Charles IV that plays a major role in modern Prague society. Wenceslas Square today is the center of the city, and it is a marvelous combination of old architecture, modern buildings and business centers. In the area around the Hotel Ambassador - Zlata Husa there are several department stores, luxury shops and theatres, and a large number of private restaurants, cafes and clubs.

Nowadays, the Art Deco ambience attracts a discerning clientele looking for a combination of historical charm and modern convenience.

The marble-clad bathrooms are equipped with a hydromassaging bath and separate shower. A spacious room with daylight provides the perfect meeting space for hosting conferences, presentations and seminars.

Embassy Room

This multi-purpose air-conditioned hall with sophisticated technical equipment is perfectly suited for larger social and business occasions.

Joined to the luxury restaurant Halali it offers the possibility of holding cocktail parties, receptions and banquets for up to 300 people.

Hall capacity auditorium 140 seats, seminar room 100 seats.

Cocktail Room

This comfortable meeting room, with air-conditioning located below street level with a separate entrance from the hotel arcade, is a splendid place for holding press conferences, presentations, parties and many other social events.

Capacity of meeting room – auditorium 60 seats, seminar room 40 seats.

Bridge Room

A luxurious air-conditioned meeting room in the style of Louis XIV is the ideal place for holding smaller presentations, press conferences, business and private celebrations.

Meeting room - auditorium has a capacity of 90 seats, cocktail (joined to French room) 300 seats.

Casino Ambassador

Casino Ambassador is situated in a luxury hotel of the same name in the centre of Prague, in Wenceslas Square, near to the pedestrian precinct and the street Na Příkopě.

Since 1992 it becomes to be one of the best casinos in Prague. Casino Ambassador was the first casino in Prague opened NONSTOP. In 2002 the casino underwent a refurbishment to improve and expand its services. At present you can play in the casino and use it for various private business or working meetings or celebrations.

The casino runs the program "JUST FOR FUN!" (daily from 8 pm to 10 pm) in which our experienced staff will introduce you to the rules of our games and let you play some games for free.
