In the centre of Prague, where the history and the modern spirit join, you can find the charming ANDEL Hotel.

Those who enjoy traditions can find in a close neighbourhood one of the most outstanding jewels of the Czech brewing trade -the Staropramen Brewery. Especially younger generation will appreciate recently opened world class shopping and entertainment centre "City Centre Zlaty Andel" in the hotel's vicinity.

However you can spend peaceful moments in a quiet atmosphere in the hotel itself. The building that houses the hotel was built in a classicist style at the turn of the century and was completely renovated in the past years. Thanks to that we can again admire the precise craftsmanship and the forms splendour of that period.

A convenient location of the hotel in an immediate vicinity of the underground and the tram station enables you to get within few minutes to the most prominent and sought after places in the historical part of Prague, for example the Wenceslas Square, Old Town Sqaure, Charles Bridge or the famous Prague Castle.

Location
The Andel Hotel is situated in Prague downtown, close to the villa "Bertramka", the traditional "Staropramen" brewery and a newly constructed shopping and leisure centre "City Center Zlaty Andel" and can be found easily using a city plan and our description of the route. We welcome you in one of our 36 elegant and fully furnished single, double and triple rooms. Our rooms have been refurbished during the winter season 2008/2009 and are now equipped with several technical equipment; PC, HD-Flat screen SAT- TV and Air-conditioning as well as new carpets, wooden floor, beds and wall paintings. Naturally every room is equipped with double glazed windows, direct dial telephone, free internet, minibar, safe, radio and smoke alarm.

The luxurious bathrooms with marble basin, hair dryer, floor heating and its own telephone will surely satisfy every expectation.

The barrier-free entrance to the hotel and to the restaurant are matter of course, as well as a lift to all of the floors. For more we offer 1 barrier-free room, 5 rooms for allergics and non-smoking rooms.
The parking is possible in the front of the hotel for free. For a small fee you can use the security parking.

Hotel Andel Prague - Arrival by car
From the direction Hamburg, Berlin, Dresden from Dresden - E55 - Teplice, then along E55 up to Prague. Shortly before Prague turn to the ring road "Kbelska" (follow the direction indicators "Plzen"). This road joins "Prumyslova", when reaching it, continue to follow the direction "Plzen". After several kilometres, you will reach a motorway crossing, turn to the right here again in the direction "Plzen" and drive on until your cross the Vltava river. When reaching the next motorway crossing continue straight away in Smíchov (the Andel Hotel is situated in this part of the city). There is an Agip petrol station here, in this place the still parallel two-lane entrances and exits separate. Pass under a railway bridge and turn to the left in a small street "Na Valentince", cross a three-lane street "Svornosti" and drive approximately 500 m up to the end of the street "Na Valentince", turn to the right in "Nadrazni" street and after 10 m, again to the left in "Za Zenskymi domovy" street. (If you drive straight, you will cross a large bus station - the main part is on the right from you). After approximately 400 m, you will reach "Radlicka" street, turn to the left here. Now you can see the Andel Hotel on your right-hand side.

Prague East 9, 10 and 4
From the direction Karlovy Vary
E48 to Prague - downtown - follow the direction indicators "Hotel Möwenpick". You will pass through the Strahov tunnel when following them and you will arrive directly at the Mövenpick hotel. Keep to the right lane, follow the two-lane main road, pass under a new bridge you had just over-passed, and then turn to the right at the first crossing with traffic lights in Radlicka street. Drive along this street for about 500 m and continue straight - take the right lane at the next crossing !

Prague West 5
From the direction Paris, Munich, Nuremberg, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Cologne
The direction Waidhaus / Rozvadov border crossing - Plzen - downtown Prague centre. The Andel Hotel is situated only 500 metres from the Möwenpick Hotel in the Prague centre. The Möwenpick Hotel is indicated on approach routes from all sides. If you reach it (on your right-hand side), follow the two-lane main road, pass under a new bridge and turn to the right in Radlicka street at the first crossing after the main street. * Radlicka 40/857

Prague West 5
From the direction Bratislava, Brno, Vienna, Salzburg, Linz, Ceske Budejovice
Prague - As soon as you arrive in Prague you will reach a motorway crossing after about three kilometres, follow this motorway in the direction to Plzen !! - Follow this motorway until your cross the Vltava river. Continue directly to Smíchov at the next motorway crossing (the Andel Hotel is situated in this part of the city).
