Hotel Cloister Inn is situated in the Old Town of Prague, 300 m from the famous Charles Bridge and close to all important business and shopping areas in the city centre of Prague.
The hotel's name originates from the history of the building as it lies on the premises of a medieval convent.

Breathtaking History
Embraced by historical sights, museums, theatres, restaurants and cafés  you find yourself in a medieval monastery complex founded in the middle ages by the Jesuits, occupied by the Secret Police during the Communist regime and still inhabited by the Grey Sisters of St. Francis, with the baroque church of St. Bartholomew diligently renovated owing to the funds granted by H.R.H., The Prince of Wales.

•   1851  the Order of Grey Sisters of St. Franciscus takes over 
•   1950  brutal night invasion of the Communist Secret Police 
•   1950 - 1989 absolute abuse of the site by the Secret Police 
•   1990  the complex is restituted to the Sisters
•   1996  the Cloister Inn hotel opens its doors to the customers

Its only few monuments in Prague having such a moved and agitated history. Definitely there is only one hotel among them - the Cloister Inn.

DIRECTIONS FROM RAILWAY STATIONS

Main railway station "Hlavni Nadrazi" Tram number 9 (terminal Repy Sidliste) - go five stops to the Narodni Trida Station. Follow our map from here.

Metro - take the Red line (the C-line) two stations to Florenc, transfer to the Yellow line (the B-line) and go three stops to the Narodni Trida station. Follow our map from here.

We do not recommend taking taxis from any railway station!
