The Hotel General in Prague building has been standing on the same spot since 1890, when the "Emperor of Peace" Franz Josef I was at the height of his rule. The historical building was completely renovated and updated in 2007, when the unique, truly original Hotel General was established to make your business and leisure stay in Prague more comfortable and memorable.

Each of our 20 air-conditioned hotel rooms is inspired by the deeds and lives of famous generals and military leaders throughout world history. The furniture and decoration of each room is designed to offer a unique opportunity to taste the ambiance of the various historical periods of these generals.

Meeting Room - Our Hotel Meeting Room, with capacity up to 12 guests, offers space for meetings tailored to your particular needs. It is equipped with a huge LCD TV, telephone connection and complimentary Wi-Fi high-speed internet access. For coffee breaks, we can set up a fully stocked coffee bar.

Private In-door Garage Parking
In-door parking in the hotel's private hydraulic garage is available for guests. Advanced reservations highly recommended. Charge is only 20 EUR per night.
As well there is possibility to park in front of the hotel. Charge is only 15 EUR per night.

Sauna - Hotel Sauna is at your disposal 24 hours a day and you are more than welcome to book it in advance. Charge is only 17 EUR per hour.

Unbarriered access - Handicapped guests are welcome to book one of our Junior Suites, especially designed for their needs. The special unbarriered elevator has direct access from the hotel courtyard to the hotel restaurant.

Conveniently located in one of the fastest developing city centers, the Andel District offers a wide range of stylish restaurants and bars, branded shops and business centres, and one of Prague's biggest shopping malls with multiplex cinemas.
Take a short two minute walk from the hotel and you reach the Andel metro and tram stations which take you straight to the heart of the historical centre. It takes only 5 minutes by metro to Wenceslas Square, 10 minutes by tram to Charles Bridge and Lesser Town Square. The famous National Theatre is just across the river and our noble hotel limousines will whisk you there in 10 minutes for your evening performance. Please keep in mind that our hotel car service will be at your disposal all the time and drive you anywhere you wish.
