Hotel Josef is located in the city of Prague, five minutes walking distance from the Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square, Charles Bridge, Powder Tower, State Opera, concert halls and minutes by taxi to the Prague Castle, National Theatre, National Museum, the Exhibition area or the Congress.
Hotel Josef is the only hotel in the city of Prague which offers a courtyard with the area of 102 sq. m. with recreational value in the middle of two hotel buildings. Hotel Josef is surrounded by the stock exchange, ministries, bank headquarters and office centers. Staroměstská, Můstek or Náměstí Republiky underground stations are 500 m away.

Journey from Berlin – E55, D8

You will approach Prague on the motorway LIBERECKA (when you enter Prague there will be a Tesco hypermarket on your left)
Follow this main road – you will descend from a hill, the name of the main street will gradually change to V HOLESOVICKACH, MOST BARIKADNIKU, ARGENTINSKA, ZA VIADUKTEM – simply follow the sign for CENTRUM
When you simultaneously see the sign CENTRUM and MALA STRANA, go in the direction of MALA STRANA
Approx. after 300 m you will be at traffic lights – turn left and cross the bridge named STEFANIKUV MOST
Keep straight and you enter REVOLUCNI Street (main street with tram lines)
Turn into the second street on the right = at the traffic lights (there is a bank with a blue logo “CSOB” on the corner on your right) into DLOUHA street
Take the second left into RYBNA Street, where our hotel is located on the left side at No. 20.

Journey from PLZEN (Pilsen) – E50, D5
You will approach the new roundabout from Plzen (Pilsen). Follow the sign for LETISTE (= Airport)
Turn right at EXIT 26 direction BREVNOV and stay on the main street
You will pass the streets KARLOVARSKA, BELOHORSKA, PATOCKOVA, MILADY HORAKOVE (it is actually one street stretching for approx.10 km)
You will pass the big Toyota Arena on your left; opposite it is the extensive park named LETNA; after you pass the stadium turn to the right at the traffic lights down into the tunnel (= LETENSKY TUNEL); after leaving the tunnel keep straight at the traffic lights
After crossing the bridge STEFANIKUV MOST you will appear on the REVOLUCNI street (main street with tram lines)
Turn into the second street on the right = at the traffic lights (there is a bank with a blue logo “CSOB” on the corner on your right) into DLOUHA street
Take the second left into RYBNA Street, where our hotel is located on the left side at No. 20.

Journey from BRNO – E50, E55, E65, D1
You will approach Prague on the motorway E50 (E55, E56, D1)
This leads straight to WILSONOVA which is just a continuation of the motorway E50 (E55, E56, D1)
Keep going straight across the traffic lights (the National Museum is on the right) and you will pass the Main Railway Station = “HLAVNI NADRAZI” on the right - stay on the main road and keep going straight
Turn right at the second exit after passing the Main Railway Station – follow the sign for STARE MESTO (= Old Town)
Keep following the signs for STARE MESTO by turning left and left again
Go through the tunnel (adjacent to the river) and then about 100 m uphill – at the next lights (2nd from the tunnel) turn left and then right
Turn left at the traffic lights into REVOLUCNI street (main street with tram lines)
Turn into the second street on the right = at the traffic lights (there is a bank with a blue logo “CSOB” on the corner on your right) into DLOUHA street
Take the second left into RYBNA Street, where our hotel is located on the left side at No. 20.
