Hotel Metamorphis

is situated directly in the heart of the historical centre of Prague, in the UNESCO listed area of Ungelt. The building history dates back to 9th century, formerly the building served as custom house during a florishing business period.

Accommodation

The hotel offers accommodation in 32 rooms incl. appartements and suites, which are sensitively built into the former spaces. All of the rooms offer luxurious equipment and some of them offer stunning view of the Ungelt and the Tyn church. Most of them air-conditioned, accessible by lift. The hotel offers 2 restaurants – Café and Club Restaurant and a meeting room with possibility of meetings and social events. Parking in the hotel area.

You will find us a few minutes on walk from the Staroměstská and Můstek subway stations on line A or the Republic Square (Náměstí republiky) and Můstek stations on line B.

It is situated in original groundfloor room that in the 12 century used to be an entry into the building. There are saved both remains of the romanesque building and original walls from the 16 century. The atmosphere of the club is intensified by pleasant live music and luminous effects emphasizing the charm of the original architecture.
You can enjoy meal of both Czech and international cuisine and have a nice glass of the finest branded Czech and foreign wine.
Buffet breakfast for the hotel guests is served here. You can also book a half pension or a full pension or it is possible to order a menu of the price from 300,- CZK per person in our restaurant.

It is a small cosy cafe where you can choose from the rich offer of Italian cuisine from pizzas and pasta to wide choice of desserts. Every day you can also take advantage of a day offer that is a food of the price 85,- CZK. From April to October you can have a nice time on our restaurant forecourt (heated in cold season) with a picturesque view of the courtyard and Tyn Cathedral.

a classical meeting room, but it can offer unusual pleasant conditions for holding of small meeting events, press conferences, business presentations or meetings, in the spaces of the Club Restaurant.

You can choose from three spaces, which are combined together by joining arcade passage, separatelly called Club A, Club B and Club C.

Hotel rooms are sensitively set into the original historical building. You can find here unique rooms with original beams from the end of the 15 century, rooms with late gothic vault as well as rooms in the 16 century used by the former owner as the family chapel. One of the most beautiful rooms is a spacious apartment with an original and functioning Dutch stove.
