The "U Klenotníka" Hotel is a charming family hotel in the very centre of Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.

The hotel is situated in a historical building and offers, apart from a unique genius loci, also perfect location - just a one-minute walk from the Wenceslas Square and a three-minute walk from the Old Town Square.

The "U Klenotníka" Hotel in Prague has been rebuilt from an old burgher house. In the hotel basement, you can find some masonry dating back to the early 13th century. Over the centuries, the house was rebuilt many times, so that architectural influences of various styles are wedded in it.

The gold-plated ceiling containing motifs of jewellery on the ground floor, which is protected as a listed sight, is also unique. This decoration originated in the early 20th century, at the time when the house hosted a Prague's renowned jeweller's shop.

The orders placed to the jeweller's shop included also restoration of the crown jewels of the Czech kings, whence comes the hotel's name - U Klenotníka (which means "at the jeweller's" in Czech).

The whole building was refurbished into a hotel in 1994. It has preserved its historical character, but at the same time it is tastefully equipped with modern interior features and supplemented with works of art created by contemporary artists.

The "U Klenotníka" Hotel in Prague offers accommodation in eight double rooms and three single rooms, all tastefully equipped with a possibility of providing an extra bed.

As a standard, all hotel rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, a phone with internet access and a mini-bar. Each room in the "U Klenotníka" . Hotel features a private bathroom, a toilet, a shower cubicle, a washbasin and a hairdryer. Safety deposit boxes are located near the reception desk.

In addition to the ground floor, the hotel features three more floors. However, in order to preserve the original conception of the historical building, it is only equipped with a small luggage lift. We therefore recommend that our senior guests reserve their rooms on lower floors.

The restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel serves breakfast in the form of a buffet. Throughout the day and in the evening you can enjoy its pleasant atmosphere with a cup of coffee or a glass of delicious drink, while being non-stop online thanks to our wireless (wifi) internet connection...
